We made a post about some website background pattern generator yesterday and I thought it would be only helpful if we also do a similar post about websites which are offering free background patterns. You can check them for inspiration or to use them in your own work while giving the link that it deserves. We are however sorry to offend all tor Triskaidekaphobic readers. Color Lover : This isn’t just a color selection site, but a community of members who all share the passion for colors. Color Lover is one of the best place to visit if you need some color inspiration.
Pattern Cooler is a fine resource if you want some quality background patterns to use in blogs, MySpace profiles, Twitter, mobile phone wallpapers, and non-commercial web projects etc.
Squidfingers is a place which will definitely interest you if you want some free patterns to download.
Kaliber Pixel Patterns also happens to have a decent repository of pattern designs which you can download and use in non-commercial projects.
Brusheezy Patterns has a relatively smaller collections but gives you the freedom to filter the results on the basis of category, photoshop version and downloads, favorites etc.
Dinpattern would be a better place to find if you seek a background pattern with ghosts or something extra experimental. The patterns downloaded from this site can be used both commercially and non-commercially.
Noqta has a collection of 33 pattern designs which are anything from sober and simple to complex.
Kollermedia Pattern4u has currently 274 background patterns in various categories from Classic, Real, Squares and Dotted etc.
Color Combos allows you to test your color combinations, see how the different combinations work together on screen, and gives color combination ideas. You can also pull colors from other websites by simply entering in the URL.
Amurai Shizoo has spectacular background images which are unique and look very beautiful.
Bravenet Clip Backgrounds is site which offers you more than 800 clipart background designs to choose from and free download.
AVA7 Patterns is a very well made site and don’t forget to kill the fly if you visit it. There are almost 1000 free background designs available to download at this site.
BG Patterns is a background generator while you may also download out of the patterns made by other users. We talked about it in our post regarding background pattern generators as well.
