I know know it’s quite some time for the winter holidays and Christmas but I wanted to prepare myself for it. Since I spend most of my time in front of my PC so I thought to customize it in order to make it ready to welcome Santa. The following is the screenshot of the Firefox I got after the three minutes of transformation.
I have made some quick changes to give the Firefox a Christmas look.
Ingredients:
1.Tinseltown Christmas Theme
2.Fast Dial
3.Christmas Social Bookmark Icons
4.Count Down Clock
You need to install Tinseltown theme which seems to be the best Christmas theme for Firefox since last few years. After installing this theme you will see a lively change in the navigation toolbar. You will experience some other visual changes as well of various degrees like a different and rather more colorful scrollbar. I preferred to add this theme because of its neat layout and the use of easy on eyes colors.
Now that you have installed the theme which was the most crucial part of this customization you may now move to some other aspects. You can install Fast Dial after that which will give you an Opera like dashboard. This dashboard helps you in way that you may create the shortcut links of your popular sites.
You can then put the icons of your favorite links in the Fast Dial dashboard. I have used Christmas Social Bookmark Icons to give it more Christmas season like feel.
Further I have also included a Countdown Clock because I believe I am little early for Christmas. This firefox extension will put a small countdown clock in the status bar.
I think it would be unfair to just decorate Firefox and leaving your Desktop just like that. So I have also selected few wallpapers from either DeviantArt or some other sources. I have given a link for each wallpaper which you can access by click on each wallpaper and I would suggest you read the guidelines before using any of them as your wallpapers.
