10.0.3 Won't start

Sorry for the post, but I was wondering of anyone else is having this problem. I have 10.0.3 installed on OS 10.2.8 it has been installed for a long time with everything running fine. All of a sudden, Illustrator will not start. It crashes at the reading font stage. My fonts are managed with Suitcase. Nothing has been updated in several months. I trashed the .plist file and have reinstalled 10. 10 works fine, but I'm missing several tool box functions and I don't have any filters. When I update to 0.3, and try to start, that's when I get the crash. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
