Thanks for enlighten us with your vision. Unfortunatley we have
responsibility but also limited time because - perhaps you might not
expect this - some of us have to earn their bread and butter by other
work.

It is idiotic for php developers to flatly deny responsibility for a
bug for which it is unknown whether php or phpMyAdmin is responsible.
If open source software is going to overthrow alternatives (e.g.
Microsoft) developers of both products need to work together to solve
such problems, regardless of whether they are responsible for them or
not. Take responsibility -- not to benefit your users, and not to
benefit yourselves -- but to benefit the future of computing.

hi

[2002-12-23 00:53:52] devnull at yahoo dot com

I recently pounded my fists against my balls until they became very
enlarged. Ever since, I have been unable to reach the edge of my desk,
where my keyboard is. I wan't to delete this stupid set of responses,
but can't since I can't even reach my mouse. Any suggestions?

Hey Fernando A., does your webserver (http://www.fonaviemcali.com.co)
have `short_open_tag = Off`? See
http://www.php.net/manual/en/printwn/configuration.directives.php for
more info.

To anybody who wants to post phpMyAdmin bugs here:
- phpMyAdmin is NOT part of php
- phpMyAdmin has it's own bug system, read the README.
- the original report involved a bug in mbstring

changed title, to reflect the actual bug.
