Default 1st or 3rd party feature that allows multiple items on the clipboard

I am looking for a way to store, view and access multiple items on the clipboard from within InDesign. when I am doing layout, I'll format a text box, icon image, title text box, etc for, say, a chapter title page. Now I scroll up to the last title page, copy the items that I want scroll back tot he page I'm working on and paste. what I would like is to copy the objects onto a floating clipboard and either click on or use a key combination to paste the copied items as needed.

Are there any plug-in and native feature that would allow this? Keep in mind that I am not trying to copy from explorer to indesign, but rather within InDesign.

any help would be much appreciated.

Try the Library (File > New > Library).

    Good luck.

Or you could just use another InDesign document and just Ctrl+F6 between
    documents.
