    Default 2 columns - 1 dropdown

Is there a visually good looking way to display 2 database columns in 1
dropdown selection list ? I've concatenated 2 columns with a space or dash
between them, but unless you're willing (which I'm not) to use a "courier"
style font to prevent the characters from skewing via proportional font,
then it looks really aweful. Any suggestions ?

What would look very nice is a line or border between the two columns.

If you're stuck with using the HTML form elements, AFAIK you're stuck
with the one-column dropdown. If you've got a short enough list that
you can use radio buttons instead, you could line them up on the screen
    with a table or CSS.

I like using a non-proportional font for that sort of thing.
