2 sided materials? - Macromedia Director 3D

Hello, When I make a simple model in 3DStudio Max and assign standard (2 sided) materials to it and export it to w3d, then in Director the material seems to be converted to single sided. (eg. if I make a cube, then removing the top face to make it appear as an open box, then the inside of the box is "empty space", only the outside of the box is visible.) Doesn't shockwave3d support doublesided materials? Is there a workaround or do I really have to model my objects with 2 sides, increasing the polycount :o(( Thanx for any advice, ...

    Default 2 sided materials?

    Hello,

When I make a simple model in 3DStudio Max and assign standard (2 sided)
materials to it and export it to w3d, then in Director the material seems to
    be converted to single sided.
(eg. if I make a cube, then removing the top face to make it appear as an
open box, then the inside of the box is "empty space", only the outside of
    the box is visible.)
    Doesn't shockwave3d support doublesided materials?

Is there a workaround or do I really have to model my objects with 2 sides,
    increasing the polycount :o((

    Thanx for any advice,

    JM.

True, it's not the same as dubbel sided material, but it's the result that
    counts :o)
Thankz very much for the tips, guys!
