2003 terminal Server Printers
One of my end users is having a problem with a recurring
printer. Although I've removed the driver from the server
and deleted the printer as well as allowed him the
ability to delete the printer, it keeps returning
whenever he logs on and sets itself as default. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Try this:
Delete the printer from the Printers folder as normal.
Then use regedit and do a search in the registry for any
instance of that printer. You don't have to put the whole
name in, just a part will suffice. When you find an
instance of that printer in the registry, delete that key.
When done, reboot the machine and see if the printer
reappears.
If that does not work (though it should), log on as
Administrator and see if that printer has been installed in
the printers folder. If, after following the above, the
printer is still there, delete it again and see what happens.
