2003 TS licences - Windows Server

Hi I purchased a pack of 60 TS licences for Win2k3. When adding the licences I picked the default per device mode. I should have registered them in per user mode as thats what I needed. How do I change this? Do I uninstall Terminal Server licencing (will that remove the current licences?) then re-install licencing and re-ad the licence pack in per user mode? Or just change Terminal Server manager to use per user and the licences are OK anyway? Please help as this is causing a nightmare for roaming users and the licences will soon run out....

    Default 2003 TS licences

    Hi Bob

    Had the same problem myself (see old post) Tried all the
    usual KB searches and the MSDN concierge who advised the
    premium rate support desk. I solved it by talking
    directly to the MS Clearing house (free number) who
    directed me to Terminal Services Dept.

    They say all you need do is:-
    * de-activate the TS licence server.
    * Re-activate it.
    * Change the config in TS Configuration > server settings
    to licencing = Per User mode
    * re-add the licence pack using Per User mode

    No restart required and should only take a few mins.

    That should fix it. I have scheduled this for early next
    week and will add a result to this post.
