Bug description: Using error_reporting() function don't change output of phpinfo() function

Same as but with PHP 4.3.3

My php.ini contain this line:
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE

With this simple script the error_reporting parameter is set to 2039, wich
is ok.

<? phpinfo(); ?>

Using the same php.ini, with this other script the error_reporting
parameter is *still* set to 2039. Shouldn't be set to 1 ?

<? error_reporting(E_ERROR); phpinfo(); ?>
