3.11 update error
I updated to Contribute 3.11 from the version that shipped with Studio 8 and
got this error message:
"while executing DWMenu_Help_TransferLicense enabled in ccmenus.xml; the
following JavaScript error(s) occured:
TypeError: dw.canTransferLicense is not a function"
I get this when I click on the Help menu. No Help menu drops down and I get
the error. When launching Contribute, the correct SN appears in the launch
screen, and the new version 3.11.
On old install, had changed regedit to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\Contribute\ 3 from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\Contribute\ 3.0 in order to install an
extension. The new 3.11 install added back the 3.0.
How do I get back the Help menu?

Re: 3.11 update error
Hello bbgirl,
Studio 8 was shipped with Contribute 3.11, so you don't need to update this
version.
Try unistall Contribute and then re-install it (either with your Studio 8-CD
or with the Contribute 3.11 Trial (= 3.11 Updater))
Beste Regards
Jens
