3.11 update will not install

I looked for previous posts but there doesn't seem to be an archive - I know in
the past it has been addressed. I (user) finally got Contribute 3 going again
after a rash of "cannot connect to server' problems.

I have the update ready to install - but double clicking brings up the windows
installer which informs me I need to locate the contribute3.msi folder...and do
I want to browse for it. I've tried locating both the prgram exe files for
contribute and windows installer....no luck. I tried using winzip to extract
the file and then double click the icon to self install - same problem. Seeing
as how I "just" got Contribute working I'm kinda loath to make any new changes.
What gives? If anyone can shed some light that'd be great. Thanks P

It might be helpful to know which OS you are running.

There are a number of TechNote on the Macromedia/Adobe site that talkes about
a number of Issues relating to the MSI Installer.

I did a search for "MSI Installer" and came up with a bunch of info.
