3 D Effect

I have to add a 3D effect to some images. My client like the look of an
image standing out from the page. Adding a drop shadow effect to the image
seems to accomplish what I am after, but I thought there would be something
a bit more realistic I could try. Any suggestions and/or comments would be
appreciated.

Would a "perspective shadow" help? There is a tutorial for it at

Go all the way to the bottom. The tutorial name is: "Perspective Shadow-MX"
Choose the Flash version if you can.

If your image is a victor drawing, and you're looking for a 3D effect,
you might try Xara 3D5 [url]http://www.xara.com/products/xara3d/[/url]

It's just a one-effect program, but it does 3D.
