30x84 Printing - Get "Cannot Print Illustration Error"
I get a "Cannot Print Illustration Error" when attempting to print to my HP 1050c. I use windows XP Pro, 1 gig ram, Illustrator 10.
All my 24x36 posters print just fine. I need to print to of the 24x36 layouts at 30x84. All vector paths. No bitmaps in the illustration. Very simple layout, just text and some vector rectangles with two EPS logos. Also tried saving the AI files to PDF and print from Acrobat 5 with a similar error (says "Cannot print document").
Not sure what to do at this point, maybe someone else out there has run into this problem.

Re: 30x84 Printing - Get "Cannot Print Illustration Error"
When this happens I try a simple test to check whether there are corrupt fonts that you can't see in the document.
Method: Make sure all layers are unlocked. Select All/Convert to Outlines. Then try printing to PDF.
If it prints then you know there is something on the page that is corrupt.
ALternatively, copy and paste each item into a brand new document and try printing to Acrobat after each item. This can also tell you when something is not correct.
