3D extrude... Why black lines?
Hello everyone...
Does anyone out there know much about the extrude side of things?
FHMXa... I've done a simple extrude but whatever surface I select... I
keep getting the black lines!
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? is there a setting buried
somewhere?
Many thanks for any help!

Re: 3D extrude... Why black lines?
Hi Piers,
Hmmm. The 'extrude side of things'? An extrusion gives the illusion of being
multi-sided, but I guess you're right, there's only one side in view at any
one time. ;-)
Try setting the lighting to 'shaded'. You also have to be in Preview mode.

Re: 3D extrude... Why black lines?
Thanks Judy... I actually got to the bottom of it .. as it turns out it
appeared to be the way I was extruding it.
Go figure... some how the more I use AI the more there is that doesn't
surprise me.... 8-(

hand unfortunately! 8-( nevermind!
Thanks very very much for taking the time to post.
Warm Regards
