    Default 3d Navigation of world...

Hi i am new to this Director 3d thing. Basically i have exported from max a
series of rooms and a corridor in one big model. Now i have been using a
program called Wirefusion to animate so far but that exports to web via Java
and i would prefer to use shockwave at the moment.

Basically i want to use the WSAD keys and the mouse to navigate the scene like
you would do in a game like quake etc. But the thing is i have absolutely no
idea where to begin with this. In wirefusion when you clicked on a camera you
had all the navigation settings there...

Really could use your help on this guys

    Cheers

    hi,
here are some good tutorials for beginners, in one of the tutorials there is
explained how to move a character with the arrow keys.

You can find a demo of a camera that follows an object around a 3D world at
    http://nonlinear.openspark.com/tips/3D/followCamera/. This was designed to
work with multiple models that are seen from the outside, but it should also
work with a single model that you visit from inside.
