3D real Time

I have this problem to solve:

I want to interconnect a control system with a computer to display a 3D image
of a room in a screen.

The control system gives txt data. I want to display the txt data in real time
inside the room model.

I also want to give commands to the control system.

Is it possible solve this with Director?

I don't know if it can be done with Director, but I'm pretty sure
DXstudio can do it ([url]http://www.dxstudio.com[/url]). I'm using DXstudio right
now for a 3D sim and will be embedding the project into Director using
ActiveX... Windows only though...
