3d sketch maker

hi, I am a 3d modeller making models with 3d studio max. my client would give
me a pencil sketch showing what the model (mostly fashion catwalks, showrooms,
etc.) should look like.i used to make them for him in his own office, but now
am in a different state and would like to know if i can make a website (i use
dreamweaver mx) and with the help of shockwave 3d, give my client a means to
make a 3d sketch on the site, where he can make the sketch and also input

I'm not sure what you are looking for... It sounds like you need a way to get
the pencil drawn sketches from your client. If that's what you are asking then
I don't see why you need Director, can't he just scan the images and email them
to you? If you're asking if Director is a good way to display your models for
your client to see over the internet, then yes, Director is not a bad way to
go, though why not just email him the .max file for him to view in Max himself?

hi, i need to make a site, and with shockwave 3d's help, my client needs to be
able to make a 3d sketch on the site. like if he needs a table for eg., he
needs to be able to make a table and input measurements on it. is this

yes it's possible. the difficulty lies in how robust you want to make the
piece. if you want to hand code it, you could use the translate and rotate
commands, as well as the transform property to handle object size/location
manipulation. if you don't have time to experiment with the coding options, i
would recomend you look into the [url]http://www.chromelib.com[/url]. i haven't used it,
but many around here swear by it. i imagine it would speed things up.
