900 size limit on text and varchar fields - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

Thanks for your reply. Here is the ddl. The column that is having the problem is the "message" column. It does not have an index. I took the index off of the id column and I am still not getting data if the length of the string that I am inserting is over 900. Thanks again for the help. create table [dbo].[report_log] ( [id] int identity (1,1) not null , [user_name] varchar (50) null , [user_ip_address] varchar (50) null , [message_type] varchar (50) not null , [message] varchar (2500) null , [application_name] varchar (50) null , [site_name] varchar (50) not ...

There does not seem to be anything wrong with the table and index. Have you been able to get the stored proc to work successfully in QA? I'm trying to eliminate SQL Server as the culprit.

Thanks for your help. I figured out the issue. I feel
like such an anus. It was not a problem, the tool I was
using had a 900 size limit on viewing the field. I
exported the data and verified it was there. The tool is
the Visual Studio DotNet Server Explorer. I bet I don't
get burned like that again. Again, thanks for taking the
    time to help me.
