A nagging Classic Question. - Mac Applications & Software

Classic has started acting up- this has been going on for months and I can't fix it. The problem is that app's toolbards, windows and controls skitter across the screen when selected, and selecting buttons and the like lead to unpredictable results. Is anyone familiar with this 'moving toolbar' problem? Any suggestions? -- John Etnier Studio Dual http://www.studiodual.com...

What have you tried? Have you run any sort of disk utility, if only the
ones that come with the Mac OS?

This isn't one of those "programed" problems is it? Like Apple wants to
kill everything before X and stop all this "running home" to Classic.

I agree it doesn't sound like a NU problem. The reason I asked is
because I had a different, but somewhat similar, problem before OS X
was even released. In OS 9 (it may even have been OS 8.6) The Finder
menu would change to gibberish every few months. DiskWarrior would
always fix it. I have no idea how this might have been a directory
    problem.
