a question on passwords for imac - Mac Applications & Software

oh mac gurus.... I have an iMac (400dv, 192mb) and I love it a lot. However, the kids have just become a little too adept at using it. Is there a way I can set a password before explorer will start up ? Also, I suppose it would be good if I could set a password on boot up (to stop the little gits getting up at 3.oo am to play "bugdom". Hiding the power cable or keyboard every night seems to be pain :-) I'm running OS9.1 (ish) cheers ! Rob Sheffield, UK...

You can also encrypt files. Go to File - Encrypt.
