A question on stage size - Macromedia Flash

Newbie flash question. I've created a new flash project that has a 550x400 stage. I've changed the properties of the stage to be blue. If I publish this, and view the html file in a browser, the entire browser window is blue; not just a 550x400 rectangle... which is what I expected. This has got to be a very basic question (I think...). Thanks! Doug -- If responding to me directly, please take out "REMOVE" from my e-mail address....

Hi,

That is correct, guess Macromedia should have had a html-background option
in "publish..." :)

They have a wish form at: http://www.macromedia.com/support/email/wishform/

Buit until then: You have some options:

1) Use your preferred background of the HTML, publish once, change your
background and uncheck publish for HTML. Then just reload your html after
you have published your swf.

PS: It is quite possible to create new or adjust existing HTML templates
that eg. does have a fixed background or have your own custom HTML.
