A5writer to Open/overide A7reader

I use Acrobat 5.0 Writer a lot and my PDF files open in in it automatically - or rather they used to until I installed an Adobe Illustrator CS2 upgrade which installed Acrobat 7.0 Reader. Now all my PDF files open in Acrobat 7.0 Reader, how do I make the Acrobat 5.0 Writer my default opening program.

The same way you make any filetype open with a particular application: Get Info (Command + i)

The following url will tell you how to set Preview to be the default
application for pdf files. You can change it appropriately so that your
pdf files will open in Acrobat 5.
