Aaaargh! Font Name/Size displays wrong...
Hi There!
In Illustrator CS I get the wrong Font settings displayed. It will say Myriad 12 pt etc. even when my typeobject is clearly something else.
It will stick with whatever type-settings I select when no type-object is selected.
VERY ANNOYING!
What di I do?
Please help!

Re: Aaaargh! Font Name/Size displays wrong...
I have been having this problem ,but today I noticed something.
First, this always happens to a file that was "updated" when opened in CS, because it was created in 10 or 9 or whatever.
Second, saving and closing the file, then reopening it, seems to solve the problem.

Similar problems have been posted. I'm not sure whether solutions have been found, but if no one responds try doing a forum search or just trolling around.
It helps also to post any information on what you might have done so far to trouble-shoot the problem.

Yes, I agree with jonf, this could be a good possibility for the recent questions on this topic lately.
