Able to Edit Source Code using Contribute 2
One of our Contribute 2 users on a Mac figured out a way to edit the source
code of a PHP file and upload his changes. I never thought this was possible,
so I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience with this?
This is how it was done:
1) View page and press Edit
2) Press Save for Later
3) Apparently, it saves a local copy of the file. In this case, it was
whateveruser/library/application
support/macromedia/contribute2/sites/site1/whateversite/index.php
4) Open file with text editor
5) Save
6) Publish
7) Contribute argues a little but if you keep pressing it uploads successfully!
How can I prevent this? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
James
