About Schockwave player-urgent
Dear All,
Is there a Shockwave player for Pocket PCs?? I was not able to find it.
Alternatively, what other ways exist to develop an application for a PDA using
Visual Studio 2005 that would be able to play flash content? What kind of
software (SDK, ActiveX, etc) would I need?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
Best,
Fotis

No, no such thing exists.
Sorry, I'm confused. If you're wanting to display Flash files on> Alternatively, what other ways exist to develop an application for a PDA using

hand-held devices, even mobile phones, the Flash Player can already do
this. But Shockwave is for playing *Director* files.
Perhaps the export for PPC xtra might help:

Re: About Schockwave player-urgent
Hi Sean,
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, you're right, it's my fault to confuse you. I actually want to play Flash
files on a PDA, not on a browser, but in an Application that I will develop
using Visual Studio 2005.
So, I would really appreciate it if you could guide me as to what do I have to
use regarding software (SDK, ActiveX, etc), in order to implement it? Is this
possible to do it as far as compatibility is concerned? (Most probably I'll be
using WM 5.0 or higher), but, I would also like to know if it works for
previous versions as well.
Thank you very much again!

I don't have any idea, but suggest you ask the same question on a Flash> use regarding software (SDK, ActiveX, etc), in order to implement it?
