Access DB Connection String Not working? PleaseHelp!!!!!
I had a string connection to access my database directly to the server and this
is the string: PROVIDER=MICROSOFT.JET.OLEDB.4.0;DATA SOURCE=' &
Server.MapPath('dn\datast.mdb') and still nothing even after i applied the
patch from Macromedia. My page is in ASP.NET VB and everytime i press the Test
button, it doesn't work and tells me that : 1) There is no Testing Server
running on the server machine 2) The testing server specified for this site
does not map to http://xxxxxxxx/..../MMHTTPDB.APS Url. Verify that..... I used
to use Visual Studio Net before and everything was ok, is there something
special to do or change when using DW? Or can it be something else? Second,
the button BUILD does not work and i tried to follow the instructions by
Macromedia, but it's not clear WHERE do i have to place the file with the UDL
extensions. What folder? The main folder of the site, the folder of the
database?? Can someone help me please? Thank you! William!
