Access Denied in setting up DB Conncection Madness!!!
I love dreamweaver, but would like to smash my computer when dealing with "ITS"
way of setting up database connections.
I have my site setup with the remote server and localhost info and I can test
it and it successfully connects.
But when I try to create a recordset, then a new connection, I get "Acess
Denied" no matter what I enter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried the local username password for my machine, the remote servers, the
remote address, the remote address with "www", mine as http://127.0.0.1
localhost, localhost/ every freakin possibilty.
AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
I HATE THEIR SETUPS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to play around with DWs server behaviors, but can't get past step one
with this program.
I write my own connections by hand all the time, but that won't help me with
getting to DWs server behaviors.
Anyone get this solved????
Thanks for letting me rant, I feel a little (very little) better :)
