Access Denied message

I'm suddenly having a problem editing any page through Contribute. I can get
to the website when I start the program, but if I try to edit any page, I get
this message:

Access denied:
The file may not exist or there could be a permission problem

I've had no problem editing until tonight (of course when I have a deadline to
reach!). Can anyone please tell me how to fix this problem so I can edit my
pages?

Have you contacted your ISP to see if they made any changes?

Thanks for your response. I was FINALLY able to fix this problem by trashing the program and preferences and reinstalling the software.

I am having the same problem. I can not edit. I have down loaded 3.11,
thinking that would do the trick. I still can not edit. I have deleted
several unused programs etc. still no good. I may have updated Fire Fox on
Friday. Could that have something to do with it. One piece of advice was to
check with the ISP to see if there were any changes made. What does that have
to do with the software working? And if so how do I Fix it??????

Try doing what I did to fix my problem: Delete your current program, including the Preferences. Empty trash and reboot. Reinstall the Contribute 3 software and you should be good to go.

Thanks. If I delete Contribute in add/remove programs. Will I loose the installer that is loaded on my computer as well?

Not sure. I did a manual removal of all Contribute software, which might be the easiest and safest way to go. Good luck!
