Re: Access Unicode connection crashes whith password
I have found this problem on a number of posts in the forums, but none of them
have a fix, solution or workaround. Has anything been done or posted about
this problem? I have searched the macromedia pages to no avail. Is the
default connection string created by the adminstrator incorrect for the Access
with Unicode driver? This is occuring on a Cold Fusion MX 6.1 server.

Re: Access Unicode connection crashes whith password
Additional information:
On machines where MS Access is not installed, the jet-engine can fail to
automatically find the system.mdw. A system.mdw must be explicitly named in the
connection string using the Jet Oledb:System database property. See
http://www.infozoom.de/jdbcurl.shtml#samples for examples.
If the database is locked with the database password, use:
"jdbc:izmado:Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OleDB.4.0; data
source=c:\\somefolder\\somemdb.mdb;"
+ "Jet Oledb:Database Password=somepwd;"
If the database is secured with the workgroup user/password credentials use:
"jdbc:izmado:Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OleDB.4.0; data
source=c:\\somefolder\\somemdb.mdb;"
+" User Id=someUser;Password=somepwd;"
If the database is secured with a specific workgroup file (System.mdw), use:
"jdbc:izmado:Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OleDB.4.0; data
source=c:\\somefolder\\somemdb.mdb;"
+ "Jet OLEDB:System Database=c:\\somefolder\\mysystem.mdw;"
If the database needs to be created, if it doesn't exist:
"jdbc:izmado:Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OleDB.4.0; data
source=c:\\somefolder\\somemdb.mdb;"
+"IzmJetCreateDB=IfNotExists;"
