accessing properties of loadMovie clips - Macromedia Flash

Hi, I'm working on a site that is constructed as a shell which loads a bunch of swfs into empty movie clips. My question is this: If I create and name a symbol instance in one of these child movie clips, it does not seem to be accessible in the shell. Like this: _level0 -- the shell _level0.childClip -- the child clip (duh) _level0.childClip.someSymbol -- comes up as undefined Does anyone know what the problem is here? Thanks. cw -- : Crack Wilding : : cracksaltydogdesign.com : : www.saltydogdesign.com : : pixels that don't bite :...

Default accessing properties of loadMovie clips

    Hi,

I'm working on a site that is constructed as a shell which loads a bunch
of swfs into empty movie clips. My question is this: If I create and
name a symbol instance in one of these child movie clips, it does not
seem to be accessible in the shell.

    Like this:

    _level0 -- the shell

_level0.childClip -- the child clip (duh)

_level0.childClip.someSymbol -- comes up as undefined

Does anyone know what the problem is here?

    Thanks.

Disregard. I was looking at the wrong child clip.
