ACPI sleep mode for a desktop in kernel 2.4.x?
Hi, all,
did anyone have any success in making the Linux kernel 2.4.x (with ACPI
support compiled in) go to a sleep mode for a desktop PC? I mean a
completely quiet mode with cpu and power supply fans turned off?
My PC is relatively new (Shuttle SS51G), it does go to sleep under MS
Windows. Also with Linux when I compile APM support instead or ACPI the
sleep mode works fine (although it does not turn off everything).
Thanks in advance.
