    Windows 2000
    Using the form tool, I've double clicked in the field and activated the calculate tab. Value is the sum of the fields I have added.

    What OS?
    What's the code you are using?
    Where have you placed this code?

    You probably have a field calculating that is either the wrong type of field, or you have an error in the name of the field (like you spelled it wrong). It is most probably tied to your calculation. I see this most often if I delete a form field but didn't remove it from the calculation in another.
