    Default Acrobat 5.0/OS 9.2.2

Seems I cannot open any PDF in Acrobat or reader, wonder if they are not compatible with OS 9.2.2? Using a G3 Blue & White Power Mac. Have reinstalled everything. Thanks!

I have a Mac G4, Acrobat 5.0 and the 5.0 patch EFG. Hadn't used in several years. Finding my pdf making function non-operative, I reinstalled both. I use Mac OS 9.2.2 because I was informed that X is not compatible with Nisus Hebrew type.

My optimizer (Norton) reported a bad forking of the pdf maker or something to that effect.

Reinstalling did produce the pdf maker icon and the adobe ps now appearfs on my chooser. But if I click on the icon all that happens is my whole system freezes.

I cannot go even to Acrobat 6.0 because anything over 5.0 is not compatible with Nisis Hebrew type, which I need.

I seem to remember that there is a problem with ATM or Acrobat and some
secondary Mac OS language support, but my memory is fuzzy. I would not
be suprised if it was causing you a problem. Alas, I don't think there
    was a fix.

I would make the suggestion to, at least for a while, disable all things Symantec, then uninstall and reinstall Acrobat products.
