Acrobat 5 - Unlocking PDF's
A friend sent me a PDF. I cropped the pages and tried to save the file. A message came up "Could not be saved. Unable to open file for writing. It may be locked or unavailable." How can I open or unlock the file? Any ideas? I have a PC and am running Windows 98. Thank you.

Re: Acrobat 5 - Unlocking PDF's
Did he send it to you on a CD?
Did you copy it from the CD to your HDD?
Did you uncheck the "Read Only" bit of the file after copying it?
Can you do a "Save As" and save with a different file name?
