Acrobat 5 versus 6
Hello I find that Acrobat 5 has better touchup text tool, because it selects one line at a time, whereas the Acrobat 6 doesn't do that - it puts a selection rectangle around the entire page, and in 5 you can select a word at a time then right click and go to attributes and change size or font. If a font is corrupted in some words, 5 lets you change the font to a different font, in 6.0 you can't do it, because the font drop down selection goes blank. Anyone experience the same problem? I am not impressed with 6.0 and am planning to go back to 5.

Re: Acrobat 5 versus 6
Why not just run both and use them for their strengths?

It is possible that you are using the "Select Text" tool in AA6 "Pro", which is different than the "Touch Up Text Tool", though it looks quite similar. The "Text Touch Up Tool" is now under Tools>Advanced Editing & behaves much the same as it did in AA5.
(FWIW, I prefer 4.05; this is in part because AA6 "Pro" 's new features are not ones I use, (nor do I care if it is 'prettier' than 4. It's software: not a plush toy). Some people may feel that AA6 "Pro" has features they are indispensible.)
