Default Acrobat 6 Pro & Windows 2000 problems

I have Acrobat Pro 6 installed on a Win 2K box. For days, weeks even, it worked fine. Someone came in and installed the reader on top of the Acrobat Pro install and since then, I cannot print to the Adobe printer and my Word XP is returning the VB error due to the *.dot file in the startup folder.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe two or three times with no result.

I'm thinking uninstall, clean the registry, restart, reinstall.

Can anyone offer an alternative to this process or a fix for my problem.

    Thanks

Your tentative plan to "uninstall, clean the registry, restart, reinstall" is the approach I would take.
