Default Acrobat 7.0.8 locks up Intel iMac 20" (original Core 2 Duo)

Acrobat installs, accepts Serial number, asks about registration, then opens the menu items at the top of the screen. At this point, the computer locks up. No error logs. Network access gone. Icons on Dock not responding (not even with icon names). Mouse moves. Only way out is to force a reboot.

I have uninstalled and re-installed several times.

Updated to 10.4.7, QT 7.1.3 and Acrobat now loads!

Thanks for the tip - perhaps this should go in the FAQ section.
