Re: Acrobat 7.0 Won't convert entire word document to pdf
Sometimes it is very useful to have section breaks in Word documents (e.g. when formatting changes or different headers/footers are needed). Is there anyway to successfully get a PDF made from these? Or does each section have to be made as a different file and then be pieced together at the end?

Re: Acrobat 7.0 Won't convert entire word document to pdf
It certainly may be very useful to have section breaks in Word documents.
However, Microsoft for at least 10 years has refused to fix what I consider a bug or design flaw in the way they create PostScript from Word for the Mac when there are section marks. You can rail against here or in Microsoft forums but I don't think it's been fixed yet.

Re: Acrobat 7.0 Won't convert entire word document to pdf
I wasn't really loking to rail against anyone or anything, just trying to make life a little simpler.
For example, using the "save as pdf" button from Word gets you multiple pdf documents from a Word file with section breaks. These can then be assembled into one.
On the other hand, using the "Adobe PDF 7.0" printer option (which seems to gives much better quality conversion of graphics than use the "save as pdf" option) just gives one file of the last section as it seems to overwrite the previous ones.
If the useful parts of both approaches (all the sections plus good quality) could be combined, then that would be an improvement.
