Default Acrobat 7 Insert Pages crashes application on OSX 10.4

Trying to insert pages from one PDF document into another and the application keeps crashing and asking me to submit a report. I've reset my permissions in OSX 10.4 but nothing seems to stop in from happening. I can insert one page and then try again, close out the document, reopen and try again. Still crashes. Anyone else having problems or know of a solution?

    Are you two people now?

Anyway - are you running any Anti-virus? We have received reports that
even writing temp files from Acrobat can cause issues ... Disable on a
    temporary basis ....

Have you used the 'Word Option' hidden text in the 'Print' option.

I found I had several pages that would crash V6 when I inserted them into a document while others using the same template didn't.

I traced it down to a batch of pages that had been made up while this switch was on. I simply reproduced the pages without the switch and the problem was solved. The pages did not actually have any hidden text.

Yes, I am two people...good catch. The documents I've been trying to import are pdf files created from exported InDesign files.

I've tried opening both documents in 6.0 and merging and the application still crashes. I've tried merging the two files in the collections tools in 7.0 and the applications still crash. I don't know if this is a Apple OSX problem or Adobe. As stated before, I've repaired permissions on the OSX and everything seems to be working correctly. Anyone have any suggestions?

Just looking back into the thread - did you have any anti-virus
    applications installed?

Also - how about performing a SAVE-AS prior to the combine? Otherwise a
PDF-Optimise with all the DISCARD OBJECTS selected?

Have you got a site where you can post two documents that cause this to happen?

No, I do not have a site but will work on that. I'll gladly email the two files to anyone to review. I've trashed Acrobat 7, emptying trash can. Then re-installed program, I've tried to merge two different files and still program crashes. I've also opened the orgnanizer file and tried to combine files and program crashed again.

I've checked my console log and have found errors but do not have a clue what the log is reporting:

2005-05-25 22:37:00.708 Acrobat[3683] WARNING: _wrapRunLoopWithAutoreleasePoolHandler got kCFRunLoopExit, but there are no autorelease pools in the stack.

2005-05-25 22:50:39.485 Acrobat[3736] WARNING: _wrapRunLoopWithAutoreleasePoolHandler got kCFRunLoopExit, but there are no autorelease pools in the stack.

Also, I've set my color sync in Adobe Bridge and I have found these errors in the console log:

Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional/Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional.app/Contents/MacOS/Acrobat: Invalid color: colored pattern specified with uncolored pattern colorspace.

Is this a completely different problem?

    On the last part :

Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional/Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional.app/Contents/MacOS/Acrobat: Invalid color: colored pattern specified with uncolored pattern colorspace.

is a different Bug and a super major one at that. should be reported ASAP. Even bogs down the operation of Acrobat frequently causing the Spinning Pizzawheel in some cases even if you have GB or more of system RAM

AS for first part of Message I don't know anything about that.
