Acrobat 7 Pro: missing PDF Options menu in all applications

This one has got me stumped. I was at a customers today who was having a problem with Acrobat not appearing i nthe print menu. I duly reinstalled the Adobe PDF printer by using Print Setup-> Advanced-> blah blah.

The printer appeared in the printer list. Hurrah! However when you choose than printer you cannot see the PDF Options dialog that enables you to choose a Distiller Settings file. I deleted and reinstalled Acrobat 7 Pro, then updated to 7.0.1 The Adobe PDF printer was again listed in the Printer list.

However still no PDF Options present. Currently we have to save the file out as Postscript and then Distill it manually. Which works ok, but I would like to resolve this.

Computer is running 10.3.9, Acrobat pro at 7.0.1 Permissions repaired, disk ok, no other weird configuration I can think of.

Suggestions?

On the print dialog box, click on Copies and Pages, choose PDF options
on the drop down menu. Set the pdf options as appropriate.

Did you solve this problem as I have the exact same problem?

MikeKazlow; the point is that 'PDF Options' is not in the drop down menu. I'm running Acrobat 6.0.1 Pro on OSX 10.3.7. I have repaired permissions, replaced the PPD, uninstalled Acrobat (using the Perl Script thingy here) and reinstalled it. Everything I can think of!

If anyone else can help, please do.

I have exactly the same problem.
The PDF Options dialog that enables you to choose a Distiller Settings file, are not present. I use the same workaround - writing a postscript, then distilling
