Acrobat 8 Professional MAC Error Message
Everytime I close a PDF I get the following error message.
The Organizer database is damaged and will be reset the next time Acrobat is launched. Quit the application and close any currently opened web browsers.
I have re-installed the application several times with no luck this keeps coming back. I have an intel MAC.
Any suggestions

Re: Acrobat 8 Professional MAC Error Message
It sounds like your Organizer database is not being replaced when you reinstall. Look in this path, and remove the "organizer70" folder and see if it gets recreated correctly:
Users > [yourname] > Library > Acrobat User Data > 8.0 > 8.0_x86 > organizer70
No guarantees, but it looks like that's where the database resides.

Re: Acrobat 8 Professional MAC Error Message
It could also be a permissions issue. Make sure that the folder and enclosing folders are set to Read/Write status by choosing File > Get Info in the Finder. It may be that Acrobat can't write to the folder to make the changes.

Re: Acrobat 8 Professional MAC Error Message
I was getting the same exact message on my G5, and noticing that the Organizer was not functioning at all. I deleted the entire folder 8.0_ppc (since I am obviously not on an Intel Mac) and let Acrobat 8 Pro recreate it. Fixed the problem! Thank you Steve!
