Acrobat asks to save new pdfs

Just recently, after I create a pdf out of InDesign (using the same export format I have been for months) (haven't updated either program), when I view it in Acrobat 7, it will ask me to save when I go to close it. This never happened before. I haven't done anything to the file to need to ask me to save.

I have run TechTool, DiskWarrior, cleaned up fonts, deleted prefs, all but reinstall.

Any ideas of what to try or why it would do this?

Installed any plug-ins lately?

Sounds as though something is changing the PDF upon opening - hence the
request by Acrobat ...

Well - if you happy to re-install ... Acrobat 6 is a little fiddly
(compared to v.7 since it has a remove application) ...

Launch Acrobat and then immediately hold down the SHIFT key ... does it
still ask to SAVE the PDF if you DO NOT change anything?

Sorry, I am reinstalling now. What does holding the shift key do?

Launches Acrobat WITHOUT any plug-ins .......
