Acrobat can't correctly print Indesign generated PDFs containing resized images?
I have an Indesign CS2 doc that I exported as PDF. The resulting PDF looks fine on screen, but prints any photos that have been resized in InDesign as distorted static.
The very same PDF prints prefectly using Mac Preview. I'm using an HP Deskjet 9800.
Photos that have not been resized in Indesign print fine with Acrobat. Am I going to have to go into Photoshop and manually resize everything first, since any resizing in Indesign seems to cause this problem? Workaround?
I have the latest updates of all software.

Forgot to mention that the placed resized photos are in jpeg format. PNG images don't seem to have this problem...

What happens if you print directly from InDesign to the output device?
Also - inside the PDF, does it error if you run the file against an
image detection under Advanced/Preflight?
