Acrobat Distiller 7.0.8 on Intel iMac Doesn't work?
I have amde a Postscript file in Quark 4.11 on OS 9 Mac and transferred it to my Intel iMac, dropped it on Distiller and I get the error message "error occurred moving file." Any idea what that means?
I tried using Acrobat 6 on the Intel and it just unexpectibly quits.
This happens with several Postscript files.
Thanks for any enlightenment on this.

This happens with several Postscript files
Have you tried making a .ps file on the intel mac (from any app) and distilling that?
I just tried a .ps file from Safari, and that Distilled fine on my iMac.

Re: Acrobat Distiller 7.0.8 on Intel iMac Doesn't work?
Found the problem. I had brought the folder of Postscript files over from my G4 and for some reason it was Read Only (I don't know why that is, though.) I just tranferred the Postscript files to a new folder made on the iMac and they worked.
It's always something, but that I would have never thought of.
Thanks for responding,though.
