In Distiller 6 the “Job Options” from Distiller 5 are now called “Edit Adobe PDF Settings” (or press Command-E) found under the “Settings” menu in Distiller 6. This allows you to change existing settings or create new ones. I hope this is what you were referring to.

All CS applications have an Export or Save As feature for creating PDF files. You can select preset settings or create your own custom settings and save them for future use. See your application “Help” menu for how to do it. I hope this helps.
