Default Acrobat keeps asking for administrator username + password upon startup

Hi, i am in the middle of my OS X rollout at work (10.3.4) and part of my build image is Adobe Acrobat Pro 6 with Acrobat Distiller 6. My problem is that whenever the user logs into their machine (i have their machine bound to the Active Directory) and launches acrobat/acrobat distiller it asks them for a username and password. The local administrator password works and they can then get on with work, this is causing a problem though as it KEEPS on asking them whenever they launch it. When the user logs in they are just a standard user, ie. they cannot write to the root of the drive or the applications folder, they can only write to their OWN user account (home) which got created when the first logged on. I think this is to blame.

Does anyone know which folders i would need to change permissions on to allow what I think Acrobat needs to write its preferences to and remember its state.

This strange behaviour also happens with Adobe Illustrator CS, you can change settings in the app and when you quit and re-launch its settings are all back to default again although this time it happens with a local administrator account aswell.

    Any help much appreciated.
