Default Acrobat Pro 6.01 Multiple scanning errors

When I try to scan to PDF, after each page is scanned I get the following errors. They are listed in order.

    1. General Failure in transfer. DG DAT is out of expected sequence.

    2. General Failure in response to DAT_PENDINGXFER. DG DAT MSG is out of expected sequence.

    3. General Failure in response to MSG_DISABLEDS. DG DAT MSG is out of expected sequence.

After I ok out of each of these errors, my scanned page comes up, and the box to go to the next page is shown. These errors apparently don't really mean anything. The are a pain, and I'd like to fix them. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

    WinXP Pro/SP1
    1GB RAM
    Office 2000
    Lexmark X83

    Thanks

I have found that scanning doesn't work very well at all in 6.01. If I need to scan to a PDF I have to use 5.

It's likely nobody else here has experienced this problem.

It's alomst certainly a scanner driver problem, so the best advice I could think of would be:

    1. Make sur eyou ahev up to date scanner dirvers

    2. Make sur eyou have updated to Acrobat 6.01

    3. Use Acrobat 5 for scanning or scan to TIFF files and then convert to PDF.

This topic has come up numerous times. Perhaps not your specific error messages, but people having trouble scanning directly into 6.0.
As WT Allen posted, update everything. If that still doesn't work, Scan to .tif and then convert.
