Acrobat Pro 7.0.8 won't generate PDF files

I just experienced that problem two days ago. I tried several things to make it happen but gave up and went back to Acrobat 6 and created the PDF with no problem. there must be some kind of bug that prevents Acrobat 7 from generating a PDf from Quark and only Quark. I never had a problem with InDesign. Good Luck!

You're right I dropped the file directly on Distiller's window. Distiller only accepts ps files. 'should've remembered it from good ol' Mac OS 9.

If i did that, it was because going into Quark - selecting my settings in the PRINT dialogue and then PRINT to the ADOBE PDF printer didn't do anything.

Since then I installed Tiger 10.4.8 on the G5, swapped the G4 with a brand new iMac intel and installed Quark X-Press 7.0.2 and they still can't generate PDF files using Acrobat or Adobe 7 printer.

I wish my users used InDesign but we can't afford the cost of learning a new software.
By the way, all softs are localized in french.

And I forgot to say it's Quark X-Press Passport (aka international version)
