Acrobat Pro does not open because : "language resources"
Suddenly (I think after an update about a month ago) Acrobat Pro 6.0.2 refuses to open. I get this message :
«The currently selected language resources are not supported by the current version of Acrobat. Please reselect the language in the International System Preferences panel.»
Never had problems before. I went to the International System Preference panel and it was as usual (French is the first choice). I tried English as first choice and it did'nt work either. I look at the Info panel of Acrobat and at "language" there is a "en" selected. I do not know what it is. I tried to trash the prefs but nothing changed. I do regular maintenance. Acrobat does not open with "old" documents that I used before or with newly created pdf made with InDesign.

Re: Acrobat Pro does not open because : "language resources"
If I remember this one, change the order of languages in the
International System Preferences panel, close it, then change it back
and all should be well.

Re: Acrobat Pro does not open because : "language resources"
Thanks Mike for the answer but it did'nt work. Maybe that the problem came from the update that was made a few weeks ago, I don't know. I think I'll have to uninstall and reinstall from the CD.

Re: Acrobat Pro does not open because : "language resources"
Thanks again Mike, but I've already reinstall the program from the CD (version 6.0) and it works o.k. I'll keep your info at hand for future use, after I update to 6.0.2 if it happens again.
